ISO 15489
Filestores is extremely proud to be the first company in Ireland and the UK to be awarded with ISO 15489. This records management specific certification is awarded only to organisations that have the systems and processes in place to ensure that their records (both paper and electronic) are properly maintained, easily accessible and correctly documented from their creation right through to ultimate disposal - be that archiving, imaging or destruction. The standard also ensures that this disposal is carried out in a transparent manner according to pre-determined criteria.
ISO 9002
Filestores was the first Records Centre in Ireland to obtain ISO 9002. This is further testament in our commitment to delivering high quality standards.
ISO 14001
Filestores have recently achieved ISO 14001 certification for our Environmental Management System. This certification has allowed us to identify, control and manage our activities which impact the environment in which we operate.
Prism
Filestores is a member of the international records management association, PRISM. As a member of PRISM, we receive up to date industry information, education and a global network from which to gain the tools necessary to provide the highest quality of service to our customers.
Records Management Society
Filestores is a member of the Records Management Society. The aim of the Society is to provide leadership in records and information management to improving the status of records management and records managers, while also supporting professional development through sharing knowledge and expertise.
National Association of Information Destruction
Our sister company, Shred-it, is a member of the National Association for Information Destruction (NAID).
